Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Building Management Control System (BMCS) Technician to monitor, operate, test and service Building Automation System assets.

You will handle tenant calls, alarms, and preventive maintenance, using BACnet, Distech, and INET-7 platforms under supervision. The role requires communication with the BAS Manager and Lab Ventilation team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BAS/DDC environments, strong technical documentation skills, and a solid grasp of HVAC and electrical

Qualifications

• 3+ years BAS monitoring and DDC controls experience.
• Ability to read and interpret sequence of operations and specs.
• Experience with BACnet networks and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, test, and perform maintenance on BAS.
• Respond to tenant calls, alarms, and work orders with triage.
• Configure and adjust BAS parameters and document results.
• Coordinate with BAS Manager, Lab Ventilation Manager and support teams.
