Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to provide 24x7 Production, Scheduling and Controls support. The PS&C team uses BMC Control-M to schedule and monitor enterprise jobs and optimize schedules with other IT staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring job schedules, performing backups and data recoveries, troubleshooting issues, and helping design new platforms while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification with ability to maintain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 Production, Scheduling and Controls support for the PS&C Team.
• Use BMC Control-M to schedule and monitor enterprise jobs and optimize schedules with cross-functional IT staff.
• Monitor job schedules, perform backups and data recoveries, and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
• Assist with planning and designing new platforms, and maintain relevant systems documentation and recovery plans.
