Overview

A Nail Technician is responsible for administering manicures and pedicures with accompanying hand and foot massage as scheduled by spa concierges. Responsibilities

The Nail Technician's typical job functions include:

• Providing consistent professional treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
• Properly caring for equipment and using proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
• Having complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
• Actively promoting home care programs and meeting minimum retail sales goals
• Upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Performing prep work and properly cleaning and restocking rooms as required
• Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
• Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
• Handling guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
• Possessing the ability to work without direct supervision
• Regularly attending, participating in and supporting training and staff meetings for the spa
• Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
