Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily work orders, service calls, and routine maintenance for resort structures.

Role includes pool and HVAC work, guest room care, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance, with a focus on safety and accuracy in records. Onsite position with access to resort perks and facilities.

Qualifications

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • You possess a working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
  • Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems is helpful.
  • You are responsible for your own basic hand tools; Boyne Mountain will supply any specialty tools and equipment.
  • You are able to crouch, bend, stand and/or sit in one position for prolonged periods of time.
  • You possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Performing pool care and maintenance; boiler room water chemical testing and water softener care and maintenance.
  • Conducting air conditioning and heat change over.
  • Completing guest room care and maintenance.
  • Performing food service equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Reviewing and performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Assisting in snow removal; performing infrastructure maintenance; water system inspection and maintenance.
  • Maintaining accurate time and material repair billing records.
  • Utilizing a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts and other materials as necessary.
