Job summary

hcaoa-careers is seeking an Area Care Tech (ACT) to support clients when regular staff are unavailable, offering variety, flexibility, and meaningful impact.

As an ACT, you will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and document care activities across assigned homes, with daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Active CNA or PCA license (preferred) OR willingness to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance.
• Clean background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers.
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Documenting care activities and reporting changes in client condition.
• Responding quickly to client needs in various homes across assigned areas.
