Overview

Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program Summer Internship is a 10‑week paid assignment located in one of 10 tracks. Interns will be assigned project work that is important to the business, with the expectation to challenge teams, contribute to innovation and drive business impact. In addition to the assignment, interns experience a full Synchrony orientation, the Intern Summer Series, ongoing support from mentors and a team invested in their success.

Marketing BLP Internship Experience

This internship is designed for students who want to jump‑start a career in Marketing. Students work side by side with experts in the function to gain hands‑on experience and help the company execute innovative marketing solutions that leverage data.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant major
• Excellent academic record – overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Available for 10 consecutive weeks during the internship (June – August)
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Must be 18 years or older
• Completion of a background investigation, drug screen and fingerprinting (required by Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act)
• Ability to relocate or travel as required by the program

Additional Eligibility Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship will be provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent (in addition to bachelor’s degree)
