Job summary

Greif is hiring a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift in Illinois. You will operate blow molding equipment to produce quality plastic parts while following safety and environmental policies. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, logging data, and maintaining a clean work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2 years of related experience. Health benefits start Day 1 and there may be a sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret production specifications and operate machinery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blow molding machines and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Remove and inspect plastic parts for defects and quality checks.
• Record rejects and log production data in the Shop Floor Monitoring System.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow work instructions precisely.
• Communicate with process techs and management as needed.
• Assist with secondary operations per work instruction.
