Job summary

Greif, Inc. in Mt Sterling, KY is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (12:00am–8:20am) to operate a blow molding machine and produce plastic parts in a safety‑conscious environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring machinery, removing parts, inspecting quality, logging data, and maintaining a clean work area. A high school diploma and up to 2 years of related experience are typically expected, with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors blow molding machines and operates controls.
• Removes plastic parts from machine and inspects for defects.
• Grinds flash and packs finished parts per work instructions.
• Logs activity in the Shop Floor Monitoring System at shift start/end and breaks.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and communicates with process techs and management.
