Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Blow Molding Machine Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with blow molding equipment and working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics to meet product specifications. Responsibilities include set-ups and size changeovers, monitoring quality, maintaining production and quality records, responding to alarms, and coordinating with the production team.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Adjust product specifications by weight, color distribution and cycle times.
• Retrieve PLC programming information, evaluate and adjust.
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain daily production and quality control records for assigned lines.
• Respond to machine alarms and address root cause.
• Coordinate process operations and communicate with production personnel.
• Read logs and notices to stay up to date on procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on blow mold and support equipment.
• Perform daily setup and bottle size changeovers on all equipment.
