Job summary

Altium Packaging in Harvard, IL is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment. You will ensure safety compliance and quality with GMPs while installing, adjusting, and repairing critical line equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include mold changes, hose inspections, valve and pump servicing, and routine welding/fabrication.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and computer literacy are required.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is required.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold changes, neck tooling changes, pin changes, and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot root problems and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
