Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Tracy, CA facility to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment and related systems. The role requires adherence to GMP and safety standards and may involve overtime as needed.

Your responsibilities include installing, adjusting and repairing blow mold equipment, performing mold changes, inspecting hoses, valves, pumps, and keeping machines in optimal condition.

Qualifications

Basic math and computer skills are required.
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred.
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
Inspect and replace hoses, valves and pumps as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment and locate root causes of failures.
Operate blow mold or injection machines when required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and GMP.
Communicate with other departments regularly.
