Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Bessemer, AL to operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and support the production line. You will troubleshoot process issues, perform minor maintenance, and collaborate with team members to maximize efficiency and profitability.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, 2+ years of machine operation experience, and ability to work overtime on a night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start production.
• Control and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform audits and quality checks on output.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
