Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Sherman, TX to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer equipment on the 12-hour D shift. You will troubleshoot process issues, perform minor maintenance and collaborate with the production team to maximize efficiency and output.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and at least 2 years of machine operating experience, preferably with blow mold machinery. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operator experience.
• 2+ years’ blow mold machine operation preferred.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and manuals is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Set up machines and calibrate for production cycles.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed etc).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform quality checks and audits on outputs.
• Record approved/defective units and enter data into SPC database.
• Troubleshoot, perform minor maintenance, and repair on blow mold systems.
