Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Product Storage & Distribution Technician (2nd Shift) in Henrietta, NY. You will receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders, triage by urgency, and maintain accurate product records with hospital clients.

Typical schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11:30pm with rotating Saturdays. Starting pay is $18/hour plus differentials for nights and weekends; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to document accurately and make good decisions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders.
• Triages orders by date/time and selects appropriate products.
• Maintain traceable product records and communicate with hospital clients.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
