Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Distribution Technician for 2nd shift (1 pm – 9:30 pm, Mon–Fri) with on-call weekends. You will receive, pack, and ship blood products, ensuring safe transport and traceability while communicating with hospital clients and teammates.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years in a regulatory/distribution environment preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans and 401K.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong computer, documentation and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders.
• Triage orders by required date/time and ensure correct temperature-regulating packaging.
• Maintain product records to preserve traceability and communicate with hospital clients.
