Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of Hospital Distribution Specialist OR related experience required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Distribution employees and oversee day-to-day shift operations.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize hospital blood product orders.
• Receive, review and prepare hospital orders for blood products.
• Select appropriate blood components and verify product information.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records and equipment.
• Communicate with hospital customers regarding order fulfillment and service needs.
• Support preventive maintenance and monitor shipments.
• Step into a leadership role to keep operations running safely.
