Responsibilities include preparing products, performing audits for quarantine and release, filtering to leuko-reduced products, and maintaining lab equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with evenings and weekends expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blood and blood products.
• Perform lab audit process for quarantine, release and disposal based on disease testing results.
• Filter blood to provide leuko-reduced products.
• Maintain and clean instruments and department.
• Data processing and input.
• Label and quarantine/discard products as needed.
