The American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Component Manufacturing Technician to produce blood products and samples. You will process units, label, store, and manage samples with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in regulatory, lab or manufacturing.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet production quality and quantity goals and maintain documentation.
• Perform inventory management during manufacturing and distribution.
• Enter data and operate programs for production, labeling, storage, and samples.
• Analyze visuals and information from other departments to meet deadlines.
• Execute complex tasks like pooled product manufacturing, freeze, wash, deglycerolizing, and pathogen reduction.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers, vendors, and volunteers.
• Possibly work a variable schedule including weekends and holidays.
