Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Savannah, GA. You will provide support to the collections operation by acquiring, distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment used in daily blood collection activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and work in tight spaces.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies, including boxes, labels and kits, per directives.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse, maintain collections' supply area, fill requisitions.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a positive, proactive, customer-focused manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload supplies and equipment as needed.
