Job summary

The American Red Cross in Novi, MI is hiring for a warehouse/inventory support role supporting the blood collections operation. You’ll acquire, distribute, and maintain supplies and equipment used daily, and handle delivery and return of materials to internal and external customers.

No prior medical experience is required as paid training is provided; prior warehouse or inventory experience is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany a mission-driven employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in tight spaces.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies (boxes, labels, canteen supplies).
• Prepare blood collection kits per directives and fill requisitions from sites.
• Maintain and organize the inventory of supplies in warehouse and at sites.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers; may drive collection vehicles when needed.
