Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers to assist with blood collection at local community sites. You will help set up equipment, create a welcoming environment for donors, and ensure safety procedures are followed to deliver blood to hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
• Basic computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Candidates must reside in Montgomery County, PA and Bucks County, PA
• Position may require a minimum height of 60 inches to safely operate Red Cross vehicles
