Job summary

The role requires extensive transfusion medicine experience, strong leadership, and the ability to align laboratory operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science required.
• ASCP (Medical Laboratory Scientist) and SBB certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years blood bank/transfusion service experience; 3 years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transfusion service operations and staffing across NGMC campuses.
• Ensure quality, regulatory, and productivity standards (DNV, AABB, CAP).
• Develop budgets, monitor financial indicators, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and staff development across the laboratory.
