Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Blood Bank Supervisor to lead Transfusion Services operations in Longview, Texas. This full-time contract position covers 13 weeks, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and oversight of daily Blood Bank activities, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Blood Bank/Transfusion Services, strong CLIA/CAP/AABB/TJC knowledge, MLS certification, and familiarity with EPIC Beaker and related systems;

Qualifications

• 5+ years Blood Bank/Transfusion experience.
• 5+ years supervisory/lead experience in the Blood Bank department.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, AABB, TJC).
• MLS Certification required; SBB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Blood Bank operations and staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage quality control, policies, procedures, and competency assessments.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor testing accuracy and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and documentation.

Job Summary – Blood Bank Supervisor (Transfusion Services) Full-Time Contract

Pay Range: $2,100 - $2,200 Weekly (40 Hours)

We are seeking an experienced Blood Bank Supervisor to lead Transfusion Services operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance expertise, and extensive Blood Bank experience.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of Blood Bank/Transfusion Services experience
• 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in the Blood Bank department
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, AABB, TJC)
• MLS Certification (ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS) required
• SBB (Specialist in Blood Banking) preferred
• Experience with EPIC Beaker, SoftBank, and Ortho Vision preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
