Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology with required bench experience.
• ASCP MT/MLS or equivalent registration.
• Ability to perform moderate complexity testing competency assessments under CLIA rules.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily blood bank operations and staffing.
• Maintain QC and QA programs to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Manage documentation and LIS data for regulatory compliance and trials.
• Schedule staff and supervise performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and hospital policies.
