Job summary

Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health, in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking a Blood Bank Technical Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensure specimens are handled per policy, and guarantee timely testing and reporting with strict QA adherence.

The role requires a MLS/MLT degree, ASCP certification (SBB preferred for Blood Bank), 4+ years of lab experience including 2+ in relevant sections, and strong communication and leadership skills. Travel to multiple sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• MLS or MLT degree required.
• ASCP certification in Laboratory field; SBB preferred for Blood Bank Supervisor.
• Minimum four years laboratory experience and at least two years in relevant sections.
• Strong communication, motivation, and ability to supervise and coordinate department activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and day-to-day supervision of section(s).
• Ensure specimens are collected and tested and reported per QA standards.
