Luminis Health, Inc. in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform a broad range of tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology and immunology, following established procedures and quality controls.

You will report results and assist in training staff. Expect a collaborative, patient-focused environment with ongoing education, safety protocols, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Formación

• Associate degree with ASCP eligibility for MLT certification.
• One year of experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• MLT(ASCP) certification or eligibility required as per ASCP guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clinical laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology and immunology.
• Maintains laboratory supplies inventory and orders needed items.
• Interprets test results and communicates findings to clinicians; mentors staff and students.
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments; conducts QC and preventative maintenance.
• Participates in quality plans, proficiency testing and safety programs.
