Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I for the Night shift at our Boston location. The role involves processing specimens, performing tests, and reporting results on both waived and non-waived tests under supervision.

Starting pay is $33/hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Required BS/BA in Science with ASCP eligibility or certification; preferred degree in Medical Technology with certification.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science from an accredited college and ASCP Certification Eligible or Certified.
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology and ASCP Certification Eligible or Certified.
• Clinical Laboratory Technologist proficiency and high level of analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens, perform tests, and report results for waived and non-waived tests.
• Maintain proficiency testing records and ensure quality control.
• Follow corrective action policies when test systems fail.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and escalate as needed.
• Document corrective actions and maintain equipment calibrations.
