Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CLS/Medical Technology required or equivalent.
• ASCP-BOC certification preferred.
• Lab experience 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow CLIA procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Perform routine and complex blood bank testing (ABO/Rh typing, antibodies, compatibility).
• Maintain records for proficiency testing and QC activities, calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor or director as needed.
• Document all corrective actions when test systems deviate from specs.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate results and patient safety.
