Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. invites a Medical Technologist to join the Choice+ Local Program in the Atlanta area. The role involves developing and monitoring test systems, performing laboratory tests, and delivering accurate results to support patient care.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, a relevant degree, and be eligible for certification with ASCP/NCA/AMT/AAB or HHS (HEW). The program covers multiple locations and requires availability for 7a–7p shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology with certification as Medical Technologist/ MLS/ CLS.
Graduate of a Military Program in Science with certification as Medical Technologist/ MLS/ CLS.
Color-acuity screening test may be required prior to duties.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor test systems and perform laboratory tests for neonate to geriatric patients.
Interpret laboratory results to support diagnosis and patient care.
