Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist in the Blood Bank with the ability to initiate and evaluate operational initiatives to improve quality and throughput. The role requires leadership skills, effective communication, and familiarity with FDA, AABB, and CAP regulations.

Applicants should have 5+ years in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Donor Center settings, general knowledge of all clinical lab areas including phlebotomy, and an active California CLS

• 5+ years in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Donor Center
• Experience applying regulatory standards (FDA, AABB, CAP)
• Ability to initiate and evaluate operational initiatives to improve quality and throughput
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Lead and supervise Blood Bank operations.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives to increase throughput and care.
