Community Regional Medical Center is seeking a CLS Blood Bank Supervisor to lead a skilled team and guide transfusion medicine practices in a busy acute care environment.

You will oversee daily Blood Bank operations, mentor ~15 staff, and collaborate with the Medical Director to implement improvements while ensuring inventory supports critical trauma needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Medical Technology.
• CA State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS).

• Partner with Medical Director to evaluate testing methodologies and advance process improvements.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the daily Blood Bank operations and lead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 15 Clinical Laboratory Scientists and non‑licensed staff. In partnership with the Medical Director, you will evaluate testing methodologies, advance process improvements and keep services aligned with current standards and emerging practices. You will also collaborate with leaders across Community to promote operational consistency and standardization while maintaining oversight of blood inventory to support the critical needs of a Level I Trauma Center.
