Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Solutions Engineer to design, develop and implement bespoke blockchain solutions for fintech clients. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect integrated blockchain systems and deploy smart contracts and Dapps.

The role requires 4+ years in software engineering with a focus on blockchain, proficiency in Solidity/Go/Java/Python, and experience with Ethereum or Hyperledger Fabric. Hybrid work from Welkom, Free State is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in software engineering with a significant focus on blockchain development.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or similar.
• Understanding of distributed ledger technology (DLT) concepts and cryptography.
• Experience with API design and integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model from Welkom, Free State office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end blockchain solutions for client-specific requirements.
• Develop and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Integrate blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems and APIs.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts for new blockchain use cases.
• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather and refine requirements.
