Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Decentralized Application (dApp) Developer with a frontend focus to join its team in Welkom, Free State. You will design intuitive interfaces for blockchain-enabled applications and translate complex smart contract interactions into seamless user experiences.

You'll collaborate with UI/UX designers, implement with React or Vue, and work with Web3 libraries such as Web3.js or Ethers.js. A hybrid work setup in Welkom is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven frontend development experience with dApp exposure.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Angular).
• Experience integrating with blockchain networks using Web3.js or Ethers.js.
• Understanding of smart contract interactions and blockchain concepts.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Version control experience (Git).
• Hybrid work capability in Welkom, Free State.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging user interfaces for decentralized applications.
