Job summary

Tempo is building a global payments layer for stablecoins and onchain commerce, seeking a seasoned full-stack engineer to ship first-party tools and integrations with partners.

You'll work across product, engineering, and customer-facing roles, traveling within the US as needed to implement solutions and ensure reliability in high-scale payment flows. Experience in crypto is a must; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 1+ year in crypto.
• Strong communication across technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the US to work with partners when needed.
• Track record of shipping mission-critical systems where safety and reliability matter.
• Ability to balance speed, pragmatism, and technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Build internal and first-party applications on top of Tempo for agents and humans.
• Partner with startups and enterprises to integrate Tempo into their payment systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Tempo blockchain and its product surface area.
• Navigate unfamiliar codebases and organizations quickly to get products shipped.
• Bring field learnings back to Tempo to improve the product, developer experience, and blockchain itself.
