Job summary

EY is building out the Digital Asset Research Center in the United States, focusing on research and testing of public blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets. You will join a small, growing team working with US clients while coordinating with colleagues in Europe, India, Asia‑Pacific and the Americas.

The role covers front‑to‑back development, technical documentation, and collaboration with auditors to validate asset-related controls and tests.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with Node.js/Express/React/Angular and Ethereum/Solidity; testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha; databases (NoSQL/SQL); Git; Docker/Podman; and cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams and strong written/verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack software development including front‑end and back‑end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client implementations and core products.
• Stay up-to-date on leading practices and apply new methods where appropriate.
