Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ previous management experience, preferably in a food grade packaging facility.
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
• Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented leader who has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise blending/weigh out personnel, raising the standard of performance.
• Coordinate activities to meet scheduling goals and quality requirements.
• Validate raw material during receiving to ensure correct materials.
• Ensure materials weighed and recorded accurately and paperwork meets regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety and regulatory programs for safe operation.
• Communicate and achieve performance goals and KPI’s of the blending/weigh out teams.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate plant KPI reporting with the Plant Manager.
• Develop weekly/monthly blending/weigh out labor schedules and staffing needs.
