Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train and influence others.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
• Proven understanding of safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall performance of the team including quality, safety, reliability, waste and sanitation.
• Encourage continuous improvement and daily problem solving to boost effectiveness.
• Coach, train and ensure compliance with plant procedures and safety rules.
• Follow operating procedures and suggest updates as needed.
• Identify training needs for new and existing employees.
• Ensure product meets quality standards and coordinate with QA on issues.
• Resolve minor mechanical problems and keep lines running.
• Lead team meetings for production tracking and problem solving.
