Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations within the Blending Department.
• Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and support required safety training.
• Oversee blending and production schedules to ensure timely readiness for production and bulk shipments.
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Manage staffing, schedules, and training based on operational needs.
• Investigate safety, environmental, and quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Partner with other departments and plant leadership to support production goals.

Omni Specialty Packaging is seeking an experienced Blending Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Shreveport, Louisiana.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about safety, quality, operational excellence, and developing people.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily shift operations within the Blending Department


• Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to the team


• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards


• Lead pre-shift meetings and support required safety training


• Oversee blending and production schedules to ensure products are ready for production and bulk shipments


• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance

• Partner with other departments and plant leadership to support overall production goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or another fast-paced environment preferred


• Blending, production operations, or process manufacturing experience preferred


• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
