Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks a Facility Operations Manager to lead blending operations at Facility #1234, ensuring safe, efficient processes and strong team performance. You will manage production planning, inventories, and staff development while maintaining ISO 9002 compliance and driving continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires leadership, operational discipline, and collaboration with vendors and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations or completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program.
• Two (2) years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations (preferred).
• One (1) year of experience in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams (preferred).
• One (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook) (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering (preferred).
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products (preferred).
• Experience using timekeeping and/or CRM systems (preferred).
• Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee blending operations.
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure effective and safe use of equipment.
• Meet production goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees.
• Manage facility inventory levels and conduct physical inventory reviews regularly.
• Lead facility’s blend management and production planning efforts.
• Create schedules and monitor staffing.
• Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Conduct regular workforce communication meetings.
• Assist in placing and following up on purchases from outside vendors per policy.
• Complete facility administration.
• Ensure ISO 9002 compliance.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Assist with daily bank deposits.
• Support Sales Rep selling activities.
