Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to manage the manufacturing, filling, and warehouse teams. You will guide safety, quality, people, service, and cost goals while maintaining robust communication across departments.

You will lead daily schedules, training, performance management, and continuous improvement efforts to optimize operations and meet facility targets. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, operations function or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Operations function.
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership roles or leading teams.
• Have completed formal training in continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
• Have at least three (3) years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution facilities.
• Have prior work experience using timekeeping and/or production control systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, and picking operations
• Implement operational policies and procedures
• Ensure effective and safe use of manufacturing equipment
• Monitor quality and productivity to meet service and cost objectives
• Plan the daily work schedule by coordinating with outside vendors and internal departments
• Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
• Conduct regular communication meetings with workforce to enhance BMS and Operational Excellence
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
