Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing; laboratory or quality control in food/beverage preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies.
• Must comply with Quality Management System and Food Safety requirements.
• Overtime availability.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions in English.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Taste food products that may contain allergens including tree nuts.
• Sanitize contact surfaces and follow batch sheet instructions.
• Operate blending equipment and PLC/flow systems.
• Document and maintain complete batch records and parameters.
• Utilize FEFO inventory and communicate discrepancies.
• Stage ingredients for blends and store properly after blending.
• Ensure ingredients are stored per GMP guidelines.
• Prepare samples for batch analysis in the lab.
• Conduct pipe swings for distribution of blends.
• Calibrate scales before start-up.
• Follow all policies and safety regulations.
• Assist in housekeeping and line coverage as needed.
