Ascentek in Louisiana is seeking a 2nd shift blender to produce oil blends using small and large-scale equipment. The role includes operating a forklift, verifying materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will attend safety and compliance meetings, follow work orders, and collaborate with QA for product release. Must have high school diploma and 2+ years blending experience; the position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience blending materials with precise measurements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line.
• Understanding of Lean Principles and safety awareness.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders to produce blended products.
• Gather raw materials needed for blending per WO.
• Prepare samples and coordinate with QA for approval.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift safely.
• Receive materials and update inventory in the system (JDE).
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Attend monthly departmental and production meetings.
• Flexibility to work shifts/weekends as business dictates.
