Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking a Blender Operator for the 2nd shift (2:45PM - 11:00PM) to manage hand adds, verify lot numbers, and stage raw materials per batch cards. The role requires following production schedules, ensuring quality and accuracy in labeling and packaging, and coordinating with other areas of operation.

Responsibilities include recording batch data, cleaning the blender, and performing changeovers with proper safety equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend English and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn Line 4 Blending area and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Charge blender with hand adds and verify lot numbers and weights.
• Record all lot numbers of staged materials on batch cards.
• Clean and inspect blender to ensure readiness for next charge.
• Prepare blender for next compound charge and coordinate with production schedule.
• Generate labels and apply to packaging containers.
• Perform packaging equipment changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Scan finished product into the computer system and ensure accurate data entry.
