Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a Blender Operator for the 2nd shift to manage blending operations, verify lot numbers and weights, and stage materials for production. You will follow batch card instructions, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain clean, safe equipment between changes.

You will coordinate with other areas of operation, monitor production schedules, and report any deviations to supervision while helping sustain Lean Manufacturing practices and proper housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Possess good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Charge the blender with hand adds as per batch card.
• Verify lot numbers and weights of raw materials.
• Staging raw materials for production.
• Record all lot numbers on batch cards.
• Clean and inspect the blender between batches.
• Coordinate blender production with other areas.
• Review production schedule and follow customer packaging instructions.
• Generate labels and affix to packages.
