Job summary

Impleo in the United States is seeking a Blender Technician to blend juice products from raw ingredients, following product specifications and GMPs. You will obtain raw materials, operate the Warehouse Management System to reflect usage, and blend concentrates according to QA formulations.

You will handle pasteurizers, complete paperwork, collect samples for QA testing, and monitor food safety and quality. The role requires high accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Must attain forklift and pallet jack operator's license within seven days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs during production.
• Use WMS to reflect raw materials usage.
• Blend concentrates according to QA formulations.
• Operate pasteurizers to meet product specs and safety guidelines.
• Complete blend sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Obtain tanker samples and deliver to QA for testing.
• Monitor food safety and quality; report concerns.
• Maintain communication with Production, Planning and QA.
• Wash and sanitize silos, tanks and lines using CIP.
• Perform quality checks as directed by QA or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Blender Technician utilizes raw ingredients to blend juice products in accordance with product specifications.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Obtains raw ingredients and other necessary materials to perform work and properly utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect raw materials usage.
• Pumps and blends concentrate in accordance with recommended formulations provided by the Quality Assurance Department.
• Operates pasteurizers to ensure products are pasteurised in accordance with product specifications and safe food processing guidelines.
• Completes blend sheets and associated paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner.
• Obtains tanker samples in accordance with Company's policies and procedures and delivers samples to Quality Assurance Department for testing.
• Monitors job tasks to ensure food safety and quality and promptly reports any concerns or issues to supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Department.
• Maintains solid communication with Production, Planning, and Quality Assurance throughout the process and during shift changes.
• Washes and sanitises silos, tanks, and production lines using approved CIP methods.
• Performs all necessary quality checks and testing as determined by the Quality Department or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent; OR
• At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must attain within seven (7) working days of initial hire or placement in this position and maintain a current and valid forklift and pallet jack operator's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting tools and materials.
• Must be able to bend, squat, reach and stretch.

Must be able to lift 50 - 70 pounds.
