Job summary

Beacon Academy of Nevada is seeking a Blended Learning Teacher Assistant to support students in both in-person and online settings. You will reinforce instruction, monitor progress, and provide targeted interventions under the supervision of teachers and administrators.

You’ll work with Canvas and other systems, assist with attendance, behavior, and MTSS/PBIS initiatives, and help maintain a positive, organized learning environment while protecting student confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with technology and ability to learn educational platforms (Canvas, Infinite Campus preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to build rapport with at-risk students and support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist students with coursework in Canvas (LMS), including assignments, pacing, and task completion.
• Reinforce instruction and support student understanding of academic content.
• Monitor student progress daily and provide targeted interventions aligned with MTSS/PBIS frameworks.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information (FERPA) and document progress in school systems.
