Job summary

Luck Stone Corporation seeks an experienced, safety-focused Site Blaster to support blasting operations at one or more quarry locations in Virginia. You'll coordinate with the Site Foreman and corporate blasting crew to execute safe blasting activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role includes documenting blast results and helping minimize community impact while maintaining operational effectiveness. Strong data collection and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with blasting operations.
• DMME Blaster Certification or DMME Foreman Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily blasting activities with the Site Foreman and corporate blasting crew.
• Plan and execute safe, efficient blasting operations.
• Ensure all blasting activities comply with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout every stage of the blasting process.
• Collect and document blast-related data.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports of blasting activities and results.
• Maintain required records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and help minimize the effects of blasting on quarry neighbors and surrounding communities.
