Job summary

Orica is seeking an Explosives Blaster in Greencastle, PA, to manage daily loading and firing of blasts and support the team at mining sites. The role emphasizes safety, customer engagement, and meeting business targets in a dynamic environment.

Relocation assistance may be offered. The position operates Monday through Friday, with early starts and local travel up to 3 hours from Greencastle. A high school diploma and blasting license are preferred, with quarry blasting experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in blasting operations and safety procedures.
• Requirements include ability to work at customer sites and travel as needed.
• Blaster license preferred with capability to acquire locally.

Responsibilities

• Load and fire blasts as directed while maintaining safety of personnel and public.
• Mentor and develop team skills; ensure customer needs and business goals are met.
• Establish and communicate targets, ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Support planning meetings and adapt to changing priorities.
