Job summary

Orica is seeking a Mining Field Technical Services Rep to design and execute planned blasts, determine products and quantities, and ensure safe application methods. The role covers Lebannon, Kokomo, LaFayette, N. Indianapolis and Swayzee, IN, with about half time in the field.

You will build client relationships, provide explosives training, support R&D and marketing with technical input, and promote Electronic Blasting Systems. Travel spans Indiana and nearby states, with a strong field focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geosciences, Mining, or Engineering or explosives industry experience.
• 2–5 years blasting or mining experience including technical, business, and operations aspects.
• Experience with mining or explosives products and technical support.
• Drone mapping familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key clients and identify opportunities.
• Provide technical support and training on blasting applications.
• Promote and implement EBS and advanced solutions.
• Travel within Indiana and surrounding states (25–50%).
