  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand and power tools, welding, and machinery.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; PPE daily.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and a focus on quality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow instructions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, apply coatings, and inspect to achieve a consistent high-quality finish with various products and substrates.
  • Hang or handle products safely using hooks and carts for the painting process.
  • Clean and prepare part surfaces as specified.
  • Inspect parts prior to painting for needed repair or body work if required.
  • Mask parts and plug holes to print notes stating tight tolerances for overspray prevention.
  • Mix paint, catalyst, reducers, and additives per specification.
  • Adjust paint and process parameters to account for atmospheric conditions (temperature/humidity) or coating irregularities to achieve the specified or expected quality finish.
  • Produce a high-quality paint finish on a variety of materials.
  • Inspect parts for defects, repair or repaint if required.
  • Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools including painting, mixing equipment as well as booths and filtration.

JOB OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATIONS
